Good Homes, Please?
If you’d like a little background as to why I’m having to find new homes for some of my cats, please check out the previous post. For now, here are their photos and bios–two have found their new place, so that leaves 8 in need of homes, and the sooner the better. All are spayed/neutered but behind on their shots, and Damon and Runyon need special food, but other than that, everyone is ready for re-homing. Please forward to your friends, especially friends you’d like to live with if you were a pet.
Edited to add: if you’re interested in adopting any of my sweeties, please leave your email in a comment–they’re moderated, so I’ll pull your contact info and delete the comment rather than make it public.
Edited again to add: It’s been pointed out to me that I don’t have location info! I’m in SoCal, LA County more specifically, so if you’re in the same general area and interested in adopting one (or more) of my critters, please drop me a comment!
- Blaze: female, black calico, born September 23, 2008. She was the runt of her litter and is still on the small side compared to her siblings, perhaps 8 pounds. She’s active, curious if a tad cautious, and is inclined to perch on my shoulder when I pick her up. If she can be adopted as part of a pair, her best mate is her sister Patch.
- Jules: male, orange tabby, born March 27, 2009. Jules is the quintessential cat: inquisitive, loving, playful and always interested in getting petted. He also likes a shoulder perch now and then. If he can be adopted as part of a pair, his best mate is his brother Shadow.
- Shadow: male, smoke gray, born March 27, 2009. Shadow’s a big guy, a bit of a lummox, but a real sweetheart. A definite lap-cat! If he can be adopted as part of a pair, his best mate is his brother Jules.
- Damon: male, gray tabby with white bib, born September 23, 2008. Damon is the alpha cat as far as size is concerned, but very sweet-natured and loving. He has had one episode of FUS and needs special food, but other than that he’s fine. If he can be adopted as part of a pair, his best mate is his brother Runyon.
- Runyon: male, gray tabby, born September 23, 2008. A little smaller than Damon, quieter but equally loving and playful. He also had one episode of FUS and needs special food, but is fine otherwise. If he can be adopted as part of a pair, his best mate is his brother Damon.
- Scooter: female, gray/black tabby, approx. age 4 years. Scooter was found hiding out under a parked car at about six weeks of age. She’s neither a large cat nor a small one, but is quite active and inquisitive–and always ready for cuddling or lap time. If she can be adopted as part of a pair, her best mate is Bastet.
- Bastet: female, black tortoiseshell, approx. age 5 years. Bastet showed up when she was 8 or 9 months old. She is very much the lap cat–just sit down and she’s there for her pettings. If she can be adopted as part of a pair, her best mate is Scooter.
- Patch: female, black calico, born September 23, 2008. Patch is active and playful. She’s not so much interested in sitting on your lap as she is in being petted, and she’ll reach out a paw to tell you not to stop! If she can be adopted as part of a pair, her best mate is her sister Blaze.

Where are you? The ‘About’ page is empty and there’s no mention in the post.
Hi, Verity–
That’s a rather large oops on my part. I’m in LA County and have added that info to the post.
Syd
I’ll put up a post & links on E&P, Syd, and do my best to help! (((HUGS)))
Thanks, Miss Kitty!
